Meredith Hobbs Coons is a writer and musician from Nipomo, California. She obtained her BA in Creative Writing at San Francisco State University, then studied Communication Disorders and Sciences at CSUN, achieving a Master’s Degree.

Her written work has appeared in North of the Internet, Coyote + Oak, Talkhouse, and Shenandoah. She hosts a weekly Instagram Live called Single Song Shows and co-hosts the fan podcast Wilco Will Love You with Mary MacLane Mellas. She also works as a speech therapist, with a primary interest in voice therapy.

Meredith records and performs companionate, lyrical folk songs as Lamb’s Ear. She lives with her partner, her two children, three cats, and a dog.
